The United States Department of Defense's Global Positioning System or GPS is a well known global navigation satellite system. Others include Russian GLONASS, Chinese BeiDou, and European GALILEO. By using three of these systems, BuddyTracker gets much better accuracy and coverage.

Using GPS to avoid getting lost is nothing new. But having to dig around in your pack every ten minutes to figure out where you are is a waste of time and can spoil an otherwise perfect day. Using a HUD brings the data you need - and just the data you need - to your fingertips.

By not relying on cellular service, BuddyTrackers establish their own mesh network. Exact range specifications have not yet been set as range translates directly to cost. By using a mesh network topology, each BuddyTracker acts as a range booster for every other BuddyTracker.

Pixel LEDs
Pixels allow us to display a wide range of colors. We plan to utilize these colors when we start supporting multiple waypoints or when we implement the companion app.
Universal compatibility
Because of our easy-stick design, BuddyTracker fits on virtually all goggles and visors. We may look into cusom forming BuddyTracker in the future to fit specific brands of eye protection.
Rechargeable swappable battery
So that you'll never run out of juice. Getting lost shouldn't happen because a battery can't be swapped.
Lightweight slim design
Unobtrusive. This is the word that the BuddyTracker is build around. Adventure as if it isn't there. Then when you need it, it's right at your fingertips.
Non-volatile memory
Translation: Don't lose the data that matters to you. Regardless of power disruptions, BuddyTracker will keep your waypoints safe so that you're never lost again.
Wallet friendly
The first solution to getting lost and separated that costs less than a pair of goggles.
